Paltyang has natural, historical and religious sites like Kotdanda, Gadhidanda, Ranipokhari, Ajambari Kunda, Ajambarimai. In this ward where  Magar caste are more in number, dances like predominant dances like Kauraha, Salaijo, Nachauri etc are performed which reflect the original art and culture of Magar community. From Gadhidanda, Tanahun’s neighboring districts of Nawalpur, Chitwan, Lamjung, Gorkha, Kaski, Syangja landscapes, Seti river and Kaligandaki river plains can be seen in the panoramic view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri mountains.

Mrs Bishnu Maya Rana Magar, a ward member of the ward said that her ward has natural, historical, religious sites and older magar communities like Dharung, Jhirbas, Paltyang as well as scenic views of the surrounding landscapes and snow range. She also informed that a group of women from the ward has been given an observation tour of Ghandruk to run a homestay and a sanitation campaign is being run in the tole every week.

As the rural tourism development program will provide direct employment opportunities to the locals, preserve the local culture as well as earn income from the sale of local products, the local community will get economic and social benefits.
