Ward number 1, 2, 3,8 and 9 of former Kotdurbar VDC and ward number 1 of Bhirkot VDC were combined to form present ward number 6, Dhundage. As per the National Census 2068, the ward consists of 710 households and 3295 total population (1,307 male and 1988 female). Magar, Brahmin, Chhetri, and Dalits are some major caste groups living in Dungade.
Weapons of the Sen dynasty are preserved at Jyamire Dada, Jyamire Mai Temple are some historically and religious important places. Bachelors are kept as priests at Jyamire Mai Temple and 5 animals are sacrificed also known as Panchabali. Pilgrims from other wards also visit this temple.
Maize, millets, Ginger, Banana and black lentils are grown widely across the ward. Commercially, Animal farming is not practiced in this ward.
Bikash Rana, one of the youths, has plans to start farming in barren land. He has established “ Janajagaran Agro Farm” and planted citrus fruits such as Banana, Lemon, Avocado with crops like Maize and millet. He also visions to sell the sapling of Banana, Lemon, Oranges, Litchi, Mango and Avocado to the farmers.
